The students of Millennium Global School aren’t just studious indoor bookworms. Practical studies are part of their learning experience. We believe that enrichment of their syllabus with outdoor studies relevant to their topic of study is an immeasurable benefit.
For geography in particular, fieldwork studies are vital for understanding the wider world. Our ever-hardworking Year 11 class went on a trip to the CBD (Central Business District) to learn about the city, its growth, civics, government and politics and of course environmental quality. They learnt about land use zones, how and why the city grew in such a manner and everything the government has done and can do to improve urban challenges.
Their passion for their subject is evident and we are very proud of these inquisitive young minds.
